What is going on at Corel that support has become THIS bad? Almost a month has passed since my purchase and I can not get in touch with anybody at Corel who has a working knowledge of the PDF Fusion product. Even the post here from a Corel representative, who I replied to but was never answered. I do not like doing that, but Corel has made my experience a very negative one. Corel pdf fusion for windows Pc#I've been documenting the entire experience, and have offered to submit the information for publication in PC World magazine, who seem eager to receive it. The battery in my phone actually gave out I was on hold for so long. The 2 times I was home early, again I had to wade through the automated system, then was placed on hold. During my "at home" hours Corel Support is not open, unless I'm lucky and arrive home early. Each time I held over 30 minutes, once for 50 minutes. On June 7th I received an email from "Nelson" telling me "After carefully reviewing this incident it is recommended that you call into our technical support center for further assistance." Since June 7th I have tried to call numerous times, but while I'm at work I can not stay on hold for so long. And apparently Corel really doesn't care about the issues I have reported, because I get no response beyond some "help desk" canned message which, so far, never actually address my questions. ![]() It is painfully clear that Corel has nobody on the support staff who uses/knows this product. Corel pdf fusion for windows manual#Corel Support staff tells me the product does not support text-to-PDF conversion, but the User Manual includes TEXT in the "Formats Supported" list. Corel Support staff tells me the product does not support HTML, but the User Manual includes HTML in the "Formats Supported" list. Corel pdf fusion for windows windows#I have opened cases about the troubles, with no reasonable response (I mean something besides uninstall/reinstall PDF Fusion reboot the system format the hard drive and reinstall Windows and other pearls like that). I can not get any font or text formatting other than the default typeface to be used in any PDF Fusion generated PDF file. I purchased Corel PDF Fusion on May 21st 2011, and have basically been unable to do anything useful with it. I had heard that Corel Support was difficult to reach, but had no idea it was this bad. This has been the most incredibly frustrating experience with tech support I have ever had!Īny advice/suggestions greatly appreciated. Uninstall all other potentially conflicting software. When I ask Support what I may be doing wrong, the answers have included: Images are not processed, and text fonts typeface and size and color are not recognized (I'm talking "standard" fonts like Arial, sans-serif, Times New Roman, Helvetica, Courier New, etc). But I am unable to get any usable PDF document from even the most simple HTML pages. For example, the User Guide states that HTML is a supported input format for conversion to PDF. So far it seems impossible to get any meaningful/helpful answers from Corel Support staff members. I purchased the product on May 21st 2011, almost 2 weeks ago. Is there going to be an area set up for users to ask questions and/or discuss issues, techniques, etc., for Corel PDF Fusion? ![]() ![]() Sorry if this is off-topic here, but I can't find anyplace where questions about the product "PDF Fusion" seem appropriate. ![]()
